The end of the world is nigh
If you happen to see two angels in hoodies walking toward New Jersey, get ready for the world is about to end:
The announcement in church bulletins and on Web sites has been greeted with enthusiasm by some and wariness by others. But mainly, it has gone over the heads of a vast generation of Roman Catholics who have no idea what it means: "Bishop Announces Plenary Indulgences."Where's Cardinal Glick when we need him?
In recent months, dioceses around the world have been offering Catholics a spiritual benefit that fell out of favor decades ago — the indulgence, a sort of amnesty from punishment in the afterlife — and reminding them of the church's clout in mitigating the wages of sin.

That movie gives me warm and fuzzy feelings.
It's certainly a favorite in la Casa Lehmer.
"Was Wisconsin really THAT bad?"
So THAT's where Buddy Jesus came from! Never saw it... except of course for the last 5 mins of the movie, which I'm sure I've seen for every movie ever... probably.
Chris,
You need to get out more. :o)
Actually "Dogma" is a fav in our household. But be warned, it's a Kevin Smith movie, so there is a lot of bad language and fart jokes.
