Blogger joke of the day
Tyler Cowen links to a good one in a comment thread on Matthew Yglesias's post:
How do you tell if a blogger is extroverted? When he talks with you, he looks at your shoes.
My favorite verse in the Bible is Mark 9:24, which ends with the phrase, "Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!" That pretty well sums up my spiritual journey. This blog is for recording my thoughts, ideas, insights, struggles, battles, blessings, stumblings, hopes and victories on my road to salvation. Oh, and just random life stuff, too.

Jim,
I like the joke-thanks.
Rich
On another note, I sure hope I'm not going to bother you over what may be to you a very simple exercise but to me has been one of great frustration.
I feel most awkward even thinking of asking you this, so feel free to say hit the road Rich :)
I friend tried to explain how to compose on Blogger using the HTML, and I was successful sorta once or twice, but it seems to evade me, and it seems so convoluted in how each time I need and want to include this simple feature into my postings.
Would you be able to explain this to me in simple enough laymen language that even a simple Canadian can grasp?
Rich
Rich,
What are you looking to do that the WYSIWYG editor in Blogger doesn't handle? Is there something special you're trying to accomplish by using the HTML editor, or are you just wanting to learn HTML?
Jim,
I tried responding to you by copying and pasting some directions my friend gave me re: my questions to you, but i keep getting this reply after I try and post back to you.
Your HTML cannot be accepted: Closing tag has no matching opening tag:
Is there an email address whereby I can send this to you?
My wife and I are heading out soon for the day, i will check back later to see what's up.
Many thanks,
Rich
Rich,
Take my first and last name with a dot between them and that's the magic address gmail will understand. :o)
