Trip to the beach

Jason and I took the Big Blue Bus #3 down from our hotel at LAX down to Santa Monica yesterday and wandered around the beach for a bit and then went and watched the Super Bowl in a Mexican restaurant in the downtown area (good game - the first football game I've watched in something like two decades). The beach was nice (if you're into that - me, not so much) but it was windy - like 30MPH, and not in gusts, but just a steady blast.

I am having some problems uploading pics I took from my phone to Blogger. I will put them up in a follow-up post in a bit.
