WWJS - to me?

We'll see if anyone actually reads this thing. I would like to start a new meme. Maybe it's been done before, I didn't do any research beforehand. But I was thinking the other day about all the people in the Gospel that Jesus spoke to and what He said to them, and I wondered, "What would Jesus say...to me?" And the first thing that popped into my head was, "Go and sin no more." Followed closely perhaps by, "Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." I feel particularly convicted by that one recently.

Also, see this post for the inspiration, and this one as a follow up.

So, what do you think Jesus would say...to you? If you decide to participate, point back to here, please. And if you tag others, make sure they do, too, and I will update this post with links to all the blogs that participate. And if you aren't listed below and want to participate, please do!

Oh, Jim, now you've got me thinking! That's challenging, what would Jesus say to me? I need to think about this before I reply. Thanks for such a good meme.

That sure hits right at the heart, doesn't it? That one I really try not to answer sometime... I usually don't go with the memes but then again, I haven't ever actually been named on one, so I'm obliged. Post hopefully coming tonight...

Erika, thanks for your post - as I said in a comment on your blog, I categorize Jesus as the ultimate "hot tip" or insider info.

Maria, thanks also to you - your post calls out the difficulties we all have in discerning what exactly IS God saying to us, and how do we know? Really KNOW? I am glad you joined the meme.

Hey Jim,
I finally got around to doing this. It was harder than I thought it might be.
Peace.

Hi, Jim - new to your site; good stuff! :) Faintnot tagged me in your meme... I should have something up later today over at A Fundamental Shift

Thanks for such a great question. It's made for an interesting conversation with the Lord this morning... :)

Thanks, Happy. I've updated the links to include both your posts.
